What Materials Do We Use?

We use only top-of-the-line, Eco-conscious, child-safe products from start to finish.

We believe quality begins at the wood. For that reason, our toys are built with locally resourced cherry and red oak wood.

Our painted toys are painted with only the best Milk Paints. Milk paint is often referred to as "green paint" as it is composed of only natural ingredients. Milk paint is free of any chemicals, harsh smells, or unnatural components.

Our toys are coated with a mixture of FDA-approved, food-safe raw linseed oil and beeswax. Our mixture seals and preserves the toys. {See our "Toy Care" page}

Wood is an excellent alternative to plastic toys because wood is naturally anti-bacterial. Bacteria typically do not grow or strive on wood!

NOTE: No nails. screws or any other type of hardware are ever used on our toys. All wheels and other parts are attached using wooden dowels.
